What Flowers To Grow Now In Brisbane, By The Seasons
I may have mentioned once or twice that I’ve been feeling a bit stifled by having only a small space to grow in currently. As a result, I have been looking back wistfully on my past gardens and I realised they captured what flowers to grow in Brisbane, season by season!
While there are almost unlimited options of what you can grow, I focus on growing 1-3 different flower varieties each season, but plant quite a lot of each variety (e.g. 20 sunflowers, 15 marigold, 10 dahlias etc).

What Flowers To Grow Now In Brisbane | By The Seasons
Autumn (March/April): Sweet peas, sunflowers, bells of Ireland, poppies, Queen Anne’s Lace.
Winter: Sunflowers (only in full sun), poppies.
Spring (August/September): Calendula, chamomile, billy buttons, celosia, sunflowers.
Summer: Cosmos, zinnia, dahlias, basil, echinacea, marigolds.
