Zinnias are one of the most colourful and interesting flowers that can easily be grown at home. I’ve been growing zinnias in my backyard and balcony in Brisbane for almost a decade and have learned a lot!

When to plant zinnias? Summer!
When To Plant Zinnias In Australia
Zinnia is always a flower I recommend growing in Australia because it is one of the few flowers that can really stand up and thrive in full-on Australian heat. For that reason, the best time to plant zinnia in Australia is in spring and summer. I’ve tried planting it before in autumn and the flowers did not like it at all!
