7 Stunning Dahlia Varieties To Buy From Florelie In Victoria

There are a lot of incredible dahlia growers in Australia (I made a list of them here), but one grower stands out from the pack due to creating her own unreal varieties of dahlias.

Lorelie is the woman behind Florelie Seasonal Flowers based in Ballarat and over the past few years she has dabbled in dahlia breeding, coming up with some really phenomenal colour combinations that dahlia lovers have been racing to get.

With the 2024 sale now open, I decided to do a deep dive into some of the awesome dahlia varieties on offer with Florelie including the fun, two-toned Florelie Fruit Tingle. Exciting!

#1 Florelie Cosmic Romance is a new release in 2024. It's a love affair of pink, red and white!

#2 Coral Isle with its gorgeous layers, unique colour and yellow centre is currently top of my list.

#3 Florelie Dandelion is a small yellow stunner that marries the best of two brilliant things: sunflowers and dahlias!

#4 Florelie Fruit Tingle is a fan favourite for a reason: the sweet pastel tones are so cute!

#5 Florelie Magpie is a deep, dark red dahlia that is a bit of a contrast to all the super pretty light shades in the Florelie pack and that's what makes it so sought after. Adore!

#6 Salmon Joy is not a Florelie original but it is seriously gorgeous as seen by this mass of salmon petals. 

#7 Florelie Angostura is last but not least. There is always space for a vibrant orange dahlia in my garden and Florelie Angostura is super original!
