FREE! 2024 SEQ Planting Calendar

I’ve come up with my own yearly standard for what veggies and flowers to plant in South East QLD

Hi everyone,

I’ve created a very simple SE Qld planting calendar for anyone who wants to know what to plant now in South East Queensland.

I plant the bulk of my vegetables and flowers at the start of Autumn and the start of Spring, because they are the milder times of year. I like to avoid the extreme cold and extreme heat where I can and it works well for me. I’ve included what I’ll personally be growing below in Brisbane. However, if I still lived in Toowoomba with its slightly colder winter, I would take major advantage of this and add beautiful tulips and sweet peas to my list because they like the cold.

Happy growing!

Phoebe

Some of the leafy greens, carrots and broccoli (above) I grew last year, that I’ll be repeating again in 2023
