Morgie’s Garden Greens

My sister, Morag Grealy, AKA Mary Morag with her homegrown lettuce

After wanting to grow fresh leafy greens for years, watching lettuce shoot up to $10 a bunch this year, was the push she needed to plant her own garden.

Because Morg is growing in a courtyard, she opted to grow her greens in pots. She planted watercress, lettuce, tatsoi, coriander and rocket seeds and all worked well, giving her around 5 seedlings each.

Lettuce was the first cab off the rank to be moved from the seed tray into the pot and you can see by how green all of the produce is that it’s going to be super tasty, nutritious and well under $10!
