Hamari Gold dahlias are a dahlia variety I only heard of this year and as soon as I saw it, I knew I needed it in my dahlia garden! Unfortunately it wasn’t as easy as that because this light orange dinnerplate dahlia is very popular right now, probably because its petals cycle from deep red, to orange, to light honeycomb over its lifecycle making it like an incredible sunset in a flower.
I hope to be selling Hamari Gold dahlia tubers from next year (shop my dahlias here), but in the meantime I thought I would put together a little list of places in Australia that you can get your hands on them because getting Hamari Gold tubers requires some significant sleuthing.
