For the last 7+ years I’ve been growing dahlias and trying out the best places to buy dahlias tubers. Surprisingly, I found that more modest flower farms have come up with the goods (IMO) over the big companies.

Where To Buy Dahlia Tubers In The United States | 2024 Edition
Arrowhead Dahlias (Colorado): has been run by husband and wife team, Calvin and Julie Cook, for over 20 years on a 4 acre flower farm in Denver, Colorado. There are many stunning varieties that you can order each year starting from December.
Dahlias By Julie (Washington State): offers a selection of over 300 dahlias tubers, grown by June Vanderhaak in her fertile garden in Northwest Washington State. It’s a great option worth bookmarking!
Fivefork Farms (Massachusetts): is run by five siblings from the Lam family. Their farm is based near the Blackstone River Valley in Upton, Massachusetts and they sell dahlia flowers as part of the CSA as well as a large array of beautiful dahlia tubers.
Santa Cruz Dahlias (California): offers really stunning dahlias bred and grown by Kristine Albrecht in Monterey Bay including her famous (and enormous) K.A.’s Cloud variety.
Triple Wren Farms (Washington State): is another husband and wife team. Their shop includes a stunning and edited selection of beautiful dahlia tubers and often includes Cafe Au Lait in the mix. Get in early!
